This fall, FOUND Magazine point guard Davy Rothbart hits the road for his 13th tour, with visits to 20 of his favorite U.S. cities. FOUND treasures in tow, he’ll be zooming from the West Coast to the East Coast and back again for FOUND’s Unfinished Business Tour “20/13!”, which celebrates the paperback release of Davy’s acclaimed book of personal essays, My Heart is an Idiot, the release of a new album compiling Davy’s work on This American Life and other beloved public radio shows, and the brand-new issue of FOUND Magazine. Tickets are $5 and $10 in advance or at the door; guests purchasing $10 tickets receive a free copy of My Heart is an Idiot or This American Life CDs

At each exhilarating show, Davy will share the latest magical and mesmerizing finds that’ve landed in the mailbox here at FOUND HQ, plus outrageous tales from his book, My Heart is an Idiot, and essays from his work on This American Life. Joining Davy onstage is one of his favorite tour finds of all-time—the dazzling, uniquely talented sword-swallower Brett Loudermilk. Prepare to be amazed and disturbed! With special guest, charismatic DJ Mikah Tha Vipah (a.k.a. Hakim Selby).

Davy Rothbart is the creator of FOUND Magazine, a frequent contributor to public radio's This American Life, and the author of a book of personal essays, My Heart Is An Idiot, and a collection of stories, The Lone Surfer of Montana, Kansas. He writes regularly for GQ Magazine and Grantland, and his work has appeared in The New Yorker, The New York Times, and The Believer. His documentary film, Medora, about a resilient high-school basketball team in a dwindling town in rural Indiana, premiered at the SXSW Film Festival, and will be released nationwide in November, 2013. Rothbart is also the founder of Washington II Washington, an annual hiking adventure for inner-city kids. He lives between Los Angeles, California and his hometown of Ann Arbor, Michigan.

Brett Loudermilk is known as one of the youngest professional sword-swallowers in the world. He showcases his skills regularly at L.A.'s world-renowned Magic Castle, and the Coney Island and Venice Beach Freak Shows. He has performed in over 20 countries and shared the stage with everyone from Perez Hilton to the Watson Twins and Snoop Dogg. Brett is also an expert on the history of magic and sideshow performance.
